PDPA notice

Last updated: April 2026. This notice describes how Advisors Alliance Group (AAG) collects, uses, and protects your personal data in connection with the AAG Fellowship programme.

Who we are

Advisors Alliance Group Pte. Ltd. ("AAG", "we", "us") is the data controller responsible for your personal data collected through the AAG Fellowship application. We are registered in Singapore and represent AIA Financial Advisers.

What data we collect

When you apply for the AAG Fellowship, we collect the following categories of personal data:

• Identity and contact information — full name, email address, phone number, NRIC details
• Academic information — university, faculty, course, year of study
• Financial information — household income documents, per capita income, gross household income
• Personal statements — application essays, hardship statements, CCA or athletic background
• Referral information — how you heard about the programme

Why we collect it

We collect and use your personal data solely for the following purposes:

• To assess your eligibility for the AAG Fellowship
• To communicate with you about your application and, if selected, about programme logistics
• To verify financial need as part of the selection process
• To administer the programme for successful fellows

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond the above without your separate consent.

Who we share it with

Your personal data is shared only with:

• The AAG Fellowship selection committee
• Mentors and interviewers directly involved in your assessment (name and academic information only)
• Formspree Inc., our form processing provider (data processed under their privacy policy and stored securely)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with any third party.

How long we keep it

Income documents and financial information are deleted within 6 months of the fellowship cohort concluding. Application data for unsuccessful candidates is deleted within 12 months of the application period closing. Data for fellows who complete the programme is retained for up to 3 years for alumni programme purposes, then deleted.

Your rights

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate personal data
• Withdraw consent for us to use your personal data (which may affect your application)

Data security

We take reasonable security precautions to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse. Documents are transmitted via encrypted form submission and stored in access-controlled systems.
